Literally the front section of a bass instrument, lifted off so to speak, opened up and fitted with a mirror. Man Ray visually melded the back of one of his female models with the F-holes of a cello painted on. This mirror reminds one of that artwork. Its sensual shape combines with the rich varnish and superb craftsmanship of a unique accessory, a work of art. Created by instrument craftsmen and finished in our furniture workshop. Hand finished in lustrous black with light distressing. Subtle red accents. Salvador Dali would have appreciated the double entendre!
